Wagner Brake Aggressively Expands Rotor, Drum And Hydraulic Coverage

The coverage expansion includes enhancements to 324 Wagner brake hydraulic part numbers with combined coverage of more than 90 million registered vehicles.

Wagner E-Shield Rotor
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Wagner, the global leader in braking innovation, has expanded its application coverage advantage on 464 brake rotor, drum and hydraulic part numbers for a combined total of nearly 160 million registered vehicles. A brand of global original equipment (OE) and aftermarket brake manufacturer Federal-Mogul Motorparts, Wagner is a trusted, single source of complete brake service solutions for today’s North American, Asian and European vehicles. Federal-Mogul Motorparts is a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp.

Enhanced rotor coverage is attributed to 84 premium Wagner E-Shield brake rotors covering more than 41 million vehicles in operation (VIO). Wagner E-Shield protective coating technology prevents unsightly corrosion and inhibits the rotor from corroding to the hub, providing easier removal of the rotor for service. With these part numbers, exclusive Wagner E-Shield premium rotors represent 98 percent of the brand’s rotor sales.

The coverage expansion includes enhancements to 324 Wagner brake hydraulic part numbers with combined coverage of more than 90 million registered vehicles. These part numbers include 179 hydraulic hose part numbers, 100 master cylinders and dozens of disc brake hardware kits, clutch master and slave cylinders, parking brake shoes and cables, and drum brake wheel cylinders. The company also expanded its industry-leading line of Wagner brake pads to an additional 4.2 million registered, late-model vehicles.

“As one of the world’s premier OE and aftermarket brake manufacturers, Federal-Mogul Motorparts and the Wagner brand are uniquely positioned to support the complete brake system service needs of today’s repair businesses,” said Christopher Battershell, director, braking product management, North America, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “We are pleased to continue to expand the coverage and availability of our latest product innovations, including premium E-Shield rotors and a broad range of high-quality hydraulic parts.”
