I have a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro. When the car is running, I can take the key out of the ignition. I can also take it out when I turn the key backwards. Is this a bad problem?

Your Camaro needs a new key lock cylinder assembly. After replacement, it will require security programming with a scan tool to make the computer
recognize it and the new keys.
