I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer, 4.3L vetch. Anytime I’m in park or mainly neutral, my gas gauge goes crazy. If I even touch the gas pedal, I lose a minimum of a quarter tank. Why is that and what can I do to solve this issue?

A faulty or burned-up wiring connector at the fuel pump module is common. The fuel sender and fuel pump are one unit inside the fuel tank. The fuel pump side of the connector generates a lot of heat and can melt the connector causing stalling and or fuel gauge inaccuracy. It's a dangerous job to remove the tank. Have a professional service center do it.
