Optim Engineering Computerized Battery Analyzer Tests All Batteries

The CBA is capable of higher test rates than other analyzers: up to 40 amps or 150 watts, whichever is higher. With accessory amplifiers, it allows for testing up to 2,000 watts.

The new Optim Engineering CBAIII (Computerized Battery Analyzer) is much more than a simple battery voltage or load tester. The CBA will test virtually any type or size of battery, any chemistry, any number of cells up to 55 volts. For the first time and at a reasonable price, anyone can scientifically test batteries, letting a computer do all the work.

Battery technology is advancing rapidly, giving rise to more battery-operated products, especially wireless devices. But by nature, a battery degrades with time and use, so whether a critical application or not the Optim Engineering CBAIII provides the only easy, inexpensive and accurate way to determine the total amount of energy stored in a battery. The CBA uses a standard PC with sophisticated software to test in a safe and user-friendly way. The software graphically displays and charts the battery capacity in voltage versus amp-hours, minutes or watt-hours.

The standard CBAIII with software is $149.95. Accessories include battery connection cables and holders, battery temperature probe, 500 watt 10X amplifier, a pro software upgrade and pro calibration verified hardware.
