LANGHORNE, Pa. Eastern Catalytic, a world-class manufacturer of catalytic converters and related emission control components, has just appointed Adam Satzman as the company's new Catalog/Data Manager.
The announcement was made by George Schafer, president of Eastern Manufacturing, who noted, "It is essential for us to efficiently research and publish accurate product information. We also need to be able to quickly and effectively analyze OE data to identify where new coverage is required and engineer exact product fitments for those new applications. With his strong aftermarket experience, we're confident that Mr. Satzman will enable us to continue to meet these goals and help us grow as a company."
Adam Satzman will also assist in company-related decisions regarding corporate acquisition of software and IT-related products. Additionally, he will become acting spokesperson for AAIA-related publications and technical service advisor.
Before joining the team of Eastern Catalytic, Satzman enjoyed a successful career at GMB North America as their Catalog Specialist and Technical Advisor. He graduated from the National Automotive Training Education Foundation (NATEF/ASE) Automotive Vocational Program while in High School. While enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, during operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom, he attended college and graduated with a degree in Aerospace Maintenance.
Satzman currently resides near Englishtown, N.J., and is a Mustang and hot rod enthusiast calling Old Bridge Township Raceway Park his second home. In the Fall 2009 supplement of 5.0 Mustang Magazine, his 2004 SVT Cobra racecar was featured on the cover along with the centerfold and six-page article. He also is an avid road course, autocross and drag racer, competing in several classes with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and National Auto Sport Association (NASA), as well as the National Hot Rod Association's (NHRA) Heavy ET and National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) Street classes.
