The 2003-2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser and Dodge Neon turbochargers have an extremely high OE failure rate. This is due in part to design flaws in the routing of the oil feed line. Due to extreme temperatures the oil feed line gets restricted with a build-up of coked (burnt) oil, effectively starving the turbo for oil. CARDONE now includes a new upgraded oil feed line with heat shield with every 2T315 turbo at no additional cost. The installation of this upgraded line ensures the replacement turbo receives the critical lubrication needed to run effectively. The installation of the new oil feed line is so critical, CARDONE requires the old oil feed line be returned with the old turbo core for full core return credit.
