Airtex-ASC Names Chad Hawkins Quality Manager, Fuel/Continuous Improvement

In his new role, Hawkins will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of quality-control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.

Chad Hawkins has joined Airtex-ASC as quality manager, fuel/continuous improvement.

His appointment was announced by Rick Hindi, global quality director for Airtex-ASC.

“As we continue to set a new standard when it comes to innovative, high-quality manufacturing processes, we knew Chad Hawkins would be an excellent addition to the Airtex-ASC team,” said Hindi. “Chad has over 20 years of quality systems management experience and as a certified lean leader, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of lean manufacturing to Airtex-ASC.”

In his new role, Hawkins will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of quality-control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.

Hawkins has held a wide array of manufacturing and engineering positions throughout his career, including stints with HEXPOL Compounding, Dana, Bates Rubber, Goodyear and Honeywell. A graduate of Murray State University, Hawkins has a bachelor of science degree in manufacturing engineering technology.
