The Alliance Aftermarket Jackpot Convention came to a close on Nov. 2 with a full day of educational and networking opportunities, concluding in the evening with a show-stopping program hosted by Alliance President and CEO John R. Washbish.
The morning kicked off with a keynote presentation from Dan Thurmon and Philip Solomon. Their famous “Rhythm of Success” focuses on the value of relationship-building and achieving success with others. They combine live percussion, music and stunts to illustrate these vital characteristics of successful teams.
The focus of the day was on learning, with more than 100 business seminars and technical training sessions. The Alliance brought in experts on sales-leadership best practices, shop management and operational excellence, how to deliver best-in-class customer service, digital activation, brand-building, tech retention and more. In addition, technical training sessions were hosted by Alliance supplier-channel partners covering new technology, product advancements and tech solutions with some of the industry’s best-known expert trainers.
“This is going to pay big dividends for all involved today,” said J.C. Washbish, Alliance director of marketing. “These business seminars and training sessions will provide both our customers and channel partners with the opportunities to exchange ideas, grow their knowledge bases, share best practices and take back home real-world solutions for ways to improve their business and how to serve their customers better.”
The final night was highlighted with a special performance from the Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos. The show was an unforgettable experience for the group, as Dave and Ted combined their expertise as musicians with hysterical bits to keep the audience laughing and singing along. They then hosted the final Big Money Giveaway of the week.
