Auto Plus And Pep Boys Strengthen Distribution Portfolio In The Indianapolis Market As Part Of National Growth Strategy

Auto Plus and Pep Boys has purchased Circle City Auto Parts.

autoplus-brent-windomKENNESAW, Ga. — Auto Plus and Pep Boys has expanded its footprint in a target market with the purchase of Circle City Auto Parts in Indianapolis.

With two successful wholesale locations, Circle City Auto Parts has served the parts needs of local service dealers and fleets in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas since 1999. Owners Kevin Perry and Mike Dininger, and their 20 employees, will remain part of the team as their locations transition to corporate-owned Auto Plus stores.

“The leadership team at Circle City Auto Parts is very excited about this opportunity to join forces with Auto Plus,” commented Perry. Dininger added, “We started our business 17 years ago with the support of Auto Plus, and we are delighted to continue to grow our footprint in Indianapolis together.”

“The acquisition of Circle City Auto Parts marks an expansion in one of Auto Plus and Pep Boys’ top 50 target markets for growth,” Auto Plus and Pep Boys President and Chief Executive Officer Brent Windom commented. “Adding their locations to our existing network in Indianapolis means we will continue to strengthen our presence in this market. And with Kevin and Mike staying on board, we have market expertise to leverage as we consider future opportunities to grow in the greater Indianapolis area.”

Windom continued, “Circle City Auto Parts has been a long-term independent customer of Auto Plus, operating and serving their customers under the Auto Plus banner since their business opened in 1999. This, along with their knowledgeable parts professionals, makes them a natural fit as we continue to execute our strategy to not only expand our store count, but to add to our existing team of automotive experts who are dedicated to taking care of customers’ needs.”
