Automotive Content Professionals Network To Host 43rd Knowledge Exchange Conference

Auto Care AssociationBETHESDA, Md. — The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a segment community of the Auto Care Association, will hold its 43rd Knowledge Exchange Conference in New Orleans, La., May 15-18. Key industry leader presentations, awards ceremonies, a vendor trade show, a town hall, and professional development sessions will highlight the four-day event.
Industry executives who will be participating include Stan Gowisnock, president and CEO, CARDONE Industries; Greg Henslee, president and CEO, O’Reilly Auto Parts; Mark Seng, IHS Automotive; Susan Ulrey, executive director of customer experience, Tenneco; and Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association.
“This year’s conference will deliver a robust agenda of learning and networking opportunities for our members in one of American’s most exciting and colorful cities,” said Doreen Slayter, ACPN president and director, content services, Advance Auto Parts. “The vendor trade show and learning lounge, featuring 35 exhibiting content management professionals, will demonstrate new technology and solutions and foster vendor collaboration.”
The popular awards ceremony will identify the best of the best in automotive content creation and publishing. Awards will recognize the highest quality examples of web catalog, mobile catalog applications and paper catalogs.
The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) is the only segment devoted exclusively to the education and professional development needs of automotive catalog managers and product content professions. ACPN is a professional society with more than 250 members who are employed by member companies of the Auto Care Association.
Based in Bethesda, Md., the Auto Care Association has nearly 3,000 member companies that represent some 150,000 independent automotive businesses that manufacture, distribute and sell motor vehicle parts, accessories, tools, equipment, materials and supplies, and perform vehicle service and repair.
