AutoZone Promotes Mitch Major to SVP, Supply Chain

In his new role, Major will serve on the company’s Executive Committee.

AutoZone announced that Mitch Major, currently vice president, commercial support, has been promoted to senior vice president, supply chain.

“With this promotion, we continue to strengthen our senior leadership team with a seasoned and accomplished AutoZoner,” said Bill Rhodes, AutoZone chairman, president and CEO. “Mitch has proven leadership skills that have been invaluable to our past successes, and his experiences will serve the company at a very high level for many years to come.”

Major joined AutoZone in 2005.

Over the past couple of months, MEMA has been building on momentum to try and get the REPAIR Act passed the organization said. Now, it’s announcing the next step in a campaign called the “At Home REPAIR Campaign,” asking aftermarket suppliers to get involved.

“Members of Congress will be back at home frequently in April, May, June, and July. These recesses provide the perfect opportunities to meet with legislators and urge them, face-to-face, to pass the REPAIR Act in 2024,” MEMA said.
