HOLLY, Mich. — Bar’s Leaks announced the launch of their first-ever professional-grade oil consumption product, Valve Seal Oil Consumption Repair (p/n VS-1), which is guaranteed to permanently repair valve stem seal leaks, stop blue exhaust smoke and reduce oil consumption, the company says. The new product will be available at O’Reilly Auto Parts stores beginning July 13.

Bar’s Leaks Valve Seal Oil Consumption Repair was created following consumer feedback showing a strong demand for a product that would address over-consumption of vehicle oil, an increasing problem with few to no DIY solutions available. This product directly addresses the problem in two ways: a specially-engineered seal restorer additive restores valve seal size, flexibility and elasticity lost due to engine heat, age and high mileage while an advanced seal polymer works by building a polymeric film around the valve seal to help prevent excess oil from bypassing the seal during normal engine operation.

The introduction of this new product fortifies Bar’s Leaks position as the leader in the stop-leak market and is a testament to its commitment to getting their customers quickly and safely back on the road.

Clayton Parks, Bar’s Leaks vice president of strategic development, said, “We are very excited to introduce our new product to the market. We listened to our customers, went straight into development, and are now able to give them an easy, professional-quality solution for their oil consumption problems. Our product, unlike others in the market, truly addresses the vehicle’s valve seal issues head-on to provide a permanent fix. We’re thrilled with this formulation and are looking forward to consumer feedback.”

The valve seal product is made to work in all types of engines and can be installed in a matter of minutes.
