BROADVIEW, Ill. – Robert Bosch LLC has released 50 new part numbers for February 2015. These new part numbers include brake pads, wiper blade sets, a new alternator and two new remanufactured starters.

Bosch QuietCast and Bosch Blue Brake Pads
Bosch has added 45 new brake pad sets to its braking components portfolio with hardware kits included for select applications. Of these, 37 new SKUs expand Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad coverage by an additional 34.7 million units in operation. The remaining eight new part numbers expand Bosch Blue Brake Pad coverage by an additional 7.3 million units in operation. With one in every three vehicles in North America using Bosch braking components, these new part releases further increase Bosch brake coverage for late-model domestic, Asian and European vehicles on the road.

All Bosch premium QuietCast brake pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or ceramic – and synthetic lubricant is included in each package.

Bosch Blue Brake Pads are designed to deliver quality and performance to the ‘everyday driver,’ the company says. Selected applications come towel-wrapped in a material similar to the shop towels that technicians use every day for added protection and value.

The new Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads coverage includes 2003-’07 Cadillac CTS, 2006-’10 Dodge Ram 1500, 2011-’14 Audi A1, 2012-’14 Toyota Prius V,
2007-’11 Mazda CX-7, 2007-’14 Toyota Camry, 1996-’04 Volkswagen Jetta, 2002-’10 Lexus SC430, 2001-’10 Chrysler PT Cruiser and more.

The new Bosch Blue Brake Pad Sets cover 2005-’09 Ford F-350, 2005-’14 Honda CRV, 2006-2011 Audi A3, 2013-’14 Hyundai Santa Fe and more.

Wiper Blade Sets
Bosch Wiper Systems group has added one Aerotwin Wiper Blade set and one Twin Wiper Blade set to its extensive portfolio of wipers. Bosch Aerotwin offers a direct OE replacement for vehicles requiring specific connection types and features an integrated wind spoiler design. Bosch Twin offers a pre-assembled OE-style adapter available for various connection types. These two additions to the wiper blade program enhance Bosch coverage for late-model European vehicles.

A Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blade set is available in 24-inch and 19-inch blade sizes for the 2011-’13 VW Jetta and 2011-’13 VW Passat. Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blade sets are now available for an additional 672,200 vehicles in operation in the U.S.

A Bosch Twin Wiper Blade set is available in 20-inch and 22-inch blade sizes for the following applications: 2000-’06 BMW 3 Series (convertible); 2000-’06 BMW 3 Series (coupe); 1999-’05 BMW 3 Series (sedan); 1999-’05 BMW 3 Series (wagon); 2001-’06 BMW M3 (coupe); 2000-’06 BMW M3 (convertible). The Bosch Twin Wiper Blade set is now available for an additional 573,464 vehicles in operation in the U.S.

Rotating Machines
The Bosch Starting and Charging Group has added three new SKUs to the Rotating Machine line for February, adding coverage for more than 300,000 U.S. vehicles in operation. These SKUs offer coverage for late-model Domestic, Asian and European applications, and are designed to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation.

The new alternator covers 2011-’13 Mini Cooper applications, while the remanufactured starters cover 2012-’13 Mazda 3 and Mazda CX-5, and 2012-’13 Chrysler 200 Touring Convertible.

“To keep our product offering up-to-date for our customers, Bosch communicates new part numbers for select product lines for the aftermarket each month, expanding Bosch late-model coverage for a wide variety of Asian, Domestic and European vehicles,” said Thomas Winter, vice president, Automotive Aftermarket, Robert Bosch LLC.
