Brake Parts Inc Named 2017 McHenry County Business Champion

The McHenry County Economic Development Corp. (MCEDC) recently named Brake Parts Inc (BPI) a 2017 McHenry County Business Champion in the category of companies with 300 or more employees.

McHENRY, Illinois – The McHenry County Economic Development Corp. (MCEDC) recently named Brake Parts Inc (BPI) a 2017 McHenry County Business Champion in the category of companies with 300 or more employees.

David Overbeeke, president and CEO of BPI, accepted the award during the 10th annual MCEDC Dinner.

“We are greatly honored to have been recognized by MCEDC as a 2017 McHenry County Business Champion,” said Overbeeke. “This recognition means a lot, since BPI has been an integral part of the McHenry County community for decades and many of our employees call the area home. It takes a team to make this happen, and I am extremely proud of our global associates for their excellence in process, products, customer and community service as they are all clearly reflected in this award. We look forward to the future as a member of the McHenry County community.”

More than 400 business leaders from all over the county gathered to celebrate businesses nominated for their drive to bolster both the local economy and community.
