PHILADELPHIA — Terry McCormack, CARDONE Industries executive chairman and CEO, announced he will step down as CEO but will continue as the executive chairman of the company’s board of directors. McCormack also announced the appointment of Stan Gowisnock as CARDONE’s new president and CEO, effective Aug. 3.

“Stan comes into this position with the full support of the board of directors as well as the Cardone family,” said McCormack. “For the past three years, Stan has been a member of our board of directors. With more than 30 years of leadership in the automotive aftermarket, technology and innovation space, he is an ideal selection to ensure our future business strategy aligns with CARDONE values, customers, channel partners and market needs.”

As the former president of DST Inc. (a Solera company), Gowisnock brings extensive experience in family business operations and a solid background in sales and marketing, engineering and technology. His skill set includes substantial expertise leading the global development and application of e-commerce, data content management and distribution management solutions. In his new role, Gowisnock will further develop CARDONE’s new product innovation strategy, uphold the company’s profitable growth opportunities for its customers and sustain a tenacious focus on excellence in customer satisfaction.

“Stan started out in this industry when he was 16 years old, working at an auto parts store. Working there through his early 20’s, he became familiar with the Cardone family name and built a foundation for understanding the needs and expectations of our aftermarket customers,” added McCormack. “He has built a career marked by strong relationships and brings a full complement of executive managerial experience — particularly with respect to the application of the most current technologies that will support our ‘New CARDONE 5-Year Vision’… a vision with one focus — its customers.”
