STAUNTON, Va. — Federated Auto Parts said its recent charity golf tournament exceeded all expectations, raising $57,500 for the 2015 Toys for Tots campaign.

“Since so many of our members and suppliers were in Richmond for the race weekend, we decided to add a golf outing to our schedule of events,” said Mike Allen, vice president for Federated Auto Parts. “Not only did the participants have a great time, but we were able to raise over $55,000 for Toys for Tots, bringing our total to over $250,000 already raised this year for this worthy cause.”

“We want to thank everyone who participated in our golf outing,” said Allen. “We have already heard from many folks who could not participate this year, but want to make sure they can take part next year. We look forward to an even bigger turnout, and even more money raised for Toys for Tots in 2016.”

Leading into the holidays, participating Federated Auto Parts stores will accept toy donations. Financial contributions can be made at federatedautoparts.com/ToysforTots.aspx that links directly to the Toys for Tots website. Donors can use a credit card securely or print out a form and mail it in with a check made out to Toys for Tots.
