DENVER – Gates Corp., a global manufacturer of power transmission and fluid power solutions, will be featuring a virtual reality training module in its AAPEX booth.
The training will be available in Gates Booth No. 4038 from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 in Las Vegas.
Booth visitors will have the opportunity to witness the serpentine system like it’s never been seen before, without having to leave their seat, the company noted.
“We’re excited to explore technological avenues that enable more engaging training opportunities,” said Todd Hack, vice president, Automotive Aftermarket Sales. “Virtual reality is one of many ways that Gates is continuously improving their digital offerings.”
Gates has had a presence at AAPEX for decades. The premier event featuring thousands of automotive aftermarket manufacturers and suppliers provides an ideal setting to highlight new products and technologies.
This year, Gates is thrilled to allow booth visitors to view a three- to four-minute virtual exploration of the serpentine system. The experience will focus on belts and tensioners and the importance of complete system repair.
