Hayden Automotive Introduces Low-Profile Fan Clutch

Sitting at just 2.7 inches tall, the new low-profile fan clutch maintains the performance of the original fan clutch, but in a much smaller package, providing room for a thicker radiator when doing V8 restoration projects, the company says.

Hayden_Low Profile Fan ClutchLEWISVILLE, Texas Hayden Automotive announces the availability of its low profile fan clutch for use on classic cars, part number 2947. Sitting at just 2.7 inches tall, the new low profile fan clutch maintains the performance of the original fan clutch, but in a much smaller package, providing room for a thicker radiator when doing V8 restoration projects.

“Keeping classic cars cool is critical and often times very challenging,” said Ron Miller, product and marketing manager of specialty products, Hayden Automotive. “Performance add-ons easily push the power limits of engines beyond what stock cooling systems can handle. A thicker three or four core aftermarket radiator, typically found under the hood of most muscle car builds, encroaches on vital engine bay space, creating fitment issues where the stock fan clutch is too tall. As a basic manufacturer, Hayden Automotive recognized these challenges and developed a solution with our new low profile, heavy duty thermal fan clutch.”
