“This is a confirmation of the successful work done by our team in Brazil – and also shows that we best serve the automobile manufacturers with our worldwide presence and are consistently able to meet high-quality standards across the globe,” says Dr. Robert Stoesser, managing director of Hengst.
The Hengst location on the South American continent was founded in 1999.

This was followed by the new location in Joinville, Brazil, which opened in 2006 and has not only allowed for enhanced production capacities but also for a high degree of in-house manufacturing. The in-house filter insert manufacturing, machining and injection molding located on-site made a major contribution to this. In addition to Mercedes-Benz, other customers of Hengst Brazil include Volkswagen, GM and MAN.
