Lubrication Specialties Inc. Raises $10,000 For Charity During Four Weeks Of Giving Hot Shot’s Secret Promotion

Four worthwhile charities benefited from the donation, the company said: Truckers Against Trafficking, St. Christopher Trucker's Relief Fund, Homes for our Troops and Fisher House Foundation.

Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI) closed 2017 with a Four Weeks of Giving Hot Shot’s Secret promotion that culminated in raising $10,000 to benefit four worthwhile charities: Truckers Against Trafficking, St. Christopher Trucker’s Relief Fund, Homes for our Troops, and Fisher House Foundation. Each week during December, LSI, manufacturer of Hot Shot’s Secret fuel and oil additives, conducted their Four Weeks of Giving Promotion as follows:

In week one, LSI launched the promotion by making a corporate donation of $2,500 to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. This non-profit helps professional drivers in the transportation industry who are recovering from an illness or accident by assisting with funds to cover medical expenses or assist in reducing the price for services with the insurance company or hospital.

In week two, Hot Shot’s Secret donated $1.00 for every ounce of Stiction Eliminator sold to existing and new dealers up to $2,500. Fisher House, located in Rockville, MD, provides houses for military families that can be used as a residence for families, provided at no cost, so they can be nearby their loved one while receiving medical care. This “home away from home” supports America’s military during a hospitalization or illness and has been estimated to have saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $360 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.

In week three, the first 250 people that purchased a charity bundle of two Stiction Eliminator bottles (64 oz.) and two Diesel Extreme bottles (32 oz.) from Tractor Supply, received a $20 Tractor Supply gift card and $10 was donated to Truckers Against Trafficking. Truckers Against Trafficking is a 501(c)3 that exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the trucking and travel plaza industry to combat domestic sex trafficking.

In the final week, Hot Shot’s Secret donated $5.00 for every bottle of Stiction Eliminator purchased through the company’s website up to a $2,500 limit commitment. Homes for our Troops builds homes for Veterans to help them rebuild their lives and once again become highly productive members of society.

Kyle Fischer, Hot Shot’s Secret director of marketing, says, “We are proud of how our employees and distribution partners supported our efforts to raise money for these causes. December is the time of giving and we felt that this was one way that we could give back to our military and to support causes that are important to the trucking industry that is a main market for our products.”
