TORONTO — Mevotech recently accepted an award for the company’s product packaging during the 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. Mevotech was recognized for its TTX Terrain Tough brand packaging and received the award for the environmental category.
Mevotech’s TTX Terrain Tough boxes are made of recycled materials and require less ink than most boxes in the industry, according to the company. The boxes are also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, which assists in ensuring the world’s forests are protected and maintained to appropriate standards.
Scott Stone, vice president of marketing at Mevotech said, “This award validates Mevotech’s commitment to the environment. Our engineering teams work diligently on each component in our program, right through to the type of package it goes into, making sure we have the best solutions that are certified by industry accreditation like FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).”
Mevotech thanked AAPEX for recognizing the company with this award.
