Roy Kent Joins Federated Auto Parts

Kent joins Federated as chief strategy officer and president of new business development.

STAUNTON, Va. – Roy Kent has joined the Federated Auto Parts management team as chief strategy officer and president of new business development, according to Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts.

“We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with an industry veteran with Roy’s vast aftermarket experience,” said Bishop. “Roy’s knowledge in all channels of our industry will greatly benefit the Federated organization. Roy joins us from Federal-Mogul, where he held a variety of responsibilities during his tenure, most recently serving as vice president of wholesale distribution.”

“Roy will be working with us in a number of areas including membership development, vendor relations and strategic planning,” said Larry Pavey, president of Federated Auto Parts. “We look forward to reintroducing Roy to our members and vendor partners in his new role with Federated. Based in Michigan, Roy will assume his position immediately, allowing Federated to accelerate several programs including ‘Next Generation’ and ‘Aftermarket Strategic Alliances.’”
