Spectra Premium Industries is teaming up with Alex Tagliani in the 2017 NASCAR Pinty’s Series. Tagliani’s No. 18 car, including major sponsors Lowe’s, Epipen and St. Hubert, will be racing with Spectra Premium’s proprietary new NSCR100 high-performance radiator. Tagliani is the second professional driver, joining Spectra Premium ambassador Jean-François Dumoulin, to be racing in the highly competitive NASCAR Pinty’s series with Spectra’s latest technological innovation, which is engineered and manufactured in Canada.
“The NSCR100 high-performance radiator is the realization of a strong collaboration between two teams, Dumoulin Competition and Spectra Premium, working closely together to develop a radiator that optimizes airflow to improve on-track engine and overall car performance as validated during Jean-François’ recent on-track testing session,” said Jason Best, senior vice president, aftermarket, Spectra Premium. “Alex’s addition to our motor sports team will avail our engineers to additional data, thereby allowing us to continually improve the performance and reliability of our products to ultimately provide optimal performance parts for the complete Spectra Premium radiator product line.’’
‘’I am so thrilled to see the evolution of what began as an idea just a few months ago to the realization of a very important key part that, we believe, can make a significant improvement to the car’s on-track performance,” said Dumoulin. “I sincerely appreciate the collaboration that we have with the Spectra team; they are true professionals. As the brand ambassador, and on behalf of the entire Spectra Premium team, I am excited and pleased to welcome Alex aboard.”
