Stant China Earns GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award For Fifth Consecutive Year

Only top-performing manufacturing sites are eligible to receive the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award.

General Motors has recognized the Stant Corporation manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, with its Supplier Quality Excellence Award. This is the fifth year that GM has presented this award to top performing suppliers and Stant China has received this honor each year since its inception.

“To earn the GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award, a supplier must meet or exceed a very stringent set of quality performance criteria while achieving the cross-functional support of the entire GM organization,” said Tim King, senior vice president of global sales for Stant Corporation. “We are very proud of the Stant China team for earning this prestigious honor. We value our long-time relationship with General Motors and appreciate their recognition of our commitment to serve them well.”

Only top-performing manufacturing sites are eligible to receive the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award. In the letter informing Stant of the award, Gary West, executive director of global supplier quality and development for General Motors, stated, “congratulations on an exceptional team effort that helped your facility win this award. Thank you for all you do to make our products great for GM, for you, and ultimately for our customers.”
