The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Promotes Jim Holik

Holik will lead the creative design and content development efforts for the Alliance's websites, social media properties and communication materials for Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. has promoted William (Jim) Holik to the new position of Creative Marketing Manager. Holik will be responsible to lead the creative design and content development efforts for Alliance’s websites, social media properties and communication materials for Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper.

“Jim has proven to be instrumental in the successful direction of this department in a short period of time,” said JC Washbish, director of marketing for the Alliance, “He brings a wealth of knowledge in the digital and social media landscapes. Our entire membership will benefit from his expertise and leadership.”

Holik joined the Alliance as Digital Content Manager in July 2017. He was most recently a Media Manager of Multimedia and Photography for 11 years at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. In his new position as Creative Marketing Manager, he will be responsible for the strategy and activation of Alliance driven digital and social media efforts as well as the creative production of Alliance meetings and the 2018 Aftermarket Jackpot Convention in Las Vegas.

Jim Holik holds a Master of the Arts in Communication and Media Studies from St. Mary’s University, a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Production from the University of the Incarnate Word as well as an associate’s degree in Sequential Graphics and Animation from San Antonio College; all three schools are located in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to his newly promoted role at the Alliance, Jim is an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word in the Department of Communication Arts.
