But encounter a heavy rainstorm or a blinding snowstorm and suddenly, they’re very important! As a parts professional, what’s the best part about wiper blades? Everything has one! Every car, light truck and SUV has at least two of them, and often a third for a rear window hatchback or liftgate.

But many motorists totally ignore the condition of their wipers until the wipers are in extremely poor condition. Sure, those blades might be chattering, streaking or smearing but they’re not doing a good job of clearing the glass.
