Women in Auto Care Releases Schedule for AAPEX 2018

The global community, dedicated to the advancement of women in the auto care industry, will be recognizing, celebrating and encouraging the achievements and contributions made by women across the industry throughout its events at AAPEX.

Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, has released its complete schedule of events planned for AAPEX 2018.

The global community, dedicated to the advancement of women in the auto care industry, will be recognizing, celebrating and encouraging the achievements and contributions made by women across the industry throughout its events at AAPEX.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Women in Auto Care Awards and Press Conference

When: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: The Venetian Hotel, Casanova Room 505

Celebrating success throughout the industry, the Women in Auto Care Awards and Press Conference will announce the winners of the 2018 Women of the Year Awards, which honor three women who are making exceptional contributions to the automotive industry, and also will announce the winners of the Automotive Communications Awards, which recognize companies and agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts.

The event will be led by Women in Auto Care President Tammy Tecklenburg, and will provide the latest news and events taking place in the Women in Auto Care community, including a special announcement to those in attendance. The Women in Auto Care Reception will immediately follow the conclusion of the awards press conference. The event is open to all AAPEX attendees.

When: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: The Venetian Hotel, Casanova Room 506

Immediately following the Women in Auto Care Awards and Press Conference, the Women in Auto Care Reception will be held in the adjoining room. A special honor will be given to the top 2018 Women in Auto Care scholarship recipient, Christina Schneider, during the reception. The reception is open to all AAPEX attendees and will include light hor d’oeuvres and refreshments. A special “Queen of Hearts” cocktail will be available for purchase in support of the Women in Auto Care Scholarship fund.

Thursday, Nov. 1

Women in Auto Care Networking Lunch

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Buddy V’s Ristorante at Palazzo Shoppes, 3327 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas

Women in Auto Care will be hosting its annual networking luncheon reserved for Women in Auto Care members. Seats are limited. Click here to register for the networking lunch.
