AAPEX 2018 Print Advertising Campaign Wins Prestigious Award

The Art of the Show Competition recognizes excellence in promotional materials for the exhibitions and events industry.

The AAPEX 2018 “It’s What’s Inside” print advertising campaign recently won a prestigious Art of the Show Competition award given by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

The AAPEX print campaign was selected for its creative use of several essential marketing elements needed to promote exhibitions and events. It was designed and executed for AAPEX by mdg, a marketing-driven agency with a 40-year track record of creating campaigns that deliver results.

The Art of the Show Competition recognizes excellence in promotional materials for the exhibitions and events industry in 15 categories of competition spanning three show sizes. An independent panel of judges who specialize in marketing, communications and graphic design judged the entries. To learn more, read the official IAEE news release.

The winning entries will be recognized at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition, which will be held Tuesday, Dec.11 through Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, in New Orleans.

AAPEX represents the $740 billion global automotive aftermarket industry and will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

The 2019 event will feature more than 2,500 exhibiting companies displaying the latest products, services and technologies. More than 47,000 targeted buyers are expected to attend, and approximately 162,000 automotive aftermarket professionals from 135 countries are projected to be in Las Vegas during AAPEX 2019.
