AAPEX 2021: GCommerce Drives Digital Commerce

“We are the EDI, electronic-commerce and connected supply chain for the entire north American automotive aftermarket.”

Des Moines, Iowa-based GCommerce has been providing digital solutions in the automotive aftermarket for two decades.

“We are the EDI, electronic-commerce and connected supply chain for the entire north American automotive aftermarket,” explains Steve Smith, president and CEO.

Nearly 3,000 companies connect through GCommerce applications, according to Smith. The pandemic has dramatically accelerated adoption of e-commerce in the aftermarket, and Smith sees no signs of that trend reversing.

“Ten years from now, the online channel will probably be among the largest channels of sales in the entire automotive aftermarket, Smith says.
