ACPN Accepting Entries For 2021 Content Excellence Awards

The Content Excellence Awards recognize the best examples of electronic content and cataloging in the auto care industry.

The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, is now accepting entries for the 2021 ACPN Content Excellence Awards.

The award ceremony will take place at the 48th annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference on May 2-5, 2021, in Orlando, Florida, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando as part of the inaugural Auto Care Connect event.

The Content Excellence Awards recognize the best examples of electronic content and cataloging in the auto care industry.

The Content Excellence Awards are comprised of four categories:

  • Web-Based Catalogs – Catalog application lookup that is purely browser-based and does not require any special client-side app to be installed.
  • ACES and PIES Data – Recognizes excellent source data and adherence to XSD validations.
  • CCPN Installer’s Choice – Recognizes excellent business-to-business systems that are either web-based or client-side install (app) supported, which support business transactions.
  • Receiver’s Choice – Industry-leading data receivers recognize organizations that are supplying high-quality content including ACES, PIES, digital assets and other customer specific formats.

Interested participants and their companies must register for and be present at the 2021 ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference to be considered for the awards. To be considered for the Receiver’s Choice awards, contact your data receiver(s) to see if they are participating in this year’s Receiver’s Choice awards and what their criteria are.

The deadline to submit for the Web-Based Catalog, ACES and PIES Data and CCPN Installer’s Choice award categories is Jan. 25, 2021. For more information about the ACPN Content Excellence Awards and to access award entry forms, click here.

All category winners will receive a plaque and the ability to use the “ACPN Content Excellence Award Winner” badge on their company literature, mobile apps and websites.

The 2020 Content Excellence award winners are: Spectra Premium, Standard Motor Products, Brembo, Cardone Industries Delphi, Parts Authority, Parts Tech Inc. and WHI Solutions.

The 2020 Receiver’s Choice award winners are: DRiV Inc., Monroe Shocks & Struts, Standard Motor Products, Melling, NGK Spark Plugs, Dana Inc., Dorman Products and Raybestos.

Currently, Auto Care Connect is anticipated to be an in-person event in Spring 2021. The Auto Care Association said it is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will follow the relevant authorities’ actions, requirements and recommendations regarding the health and safety of attendees for an in-person event.
