GCommerce, a provider of cloud-based automated services for durable-goods distribution, has inducted the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance as the inaugural customer in the GCommerce Hall of Fame.

The Alliance – headquarters for Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper – received the honor at the GCommerce annual kickoff meeting and awards banquet in Des Moines, Iowa, for its critical partnership with the company.

Dale Hopkins, vice president and chief information officer for the Alliance, accepted the award on behalf of the program group.

“Connectivity and process automation are critically important to the shareholders of the Alliance,” Hopkins said. “The innovative solutions and world-class support that we receive from GCommerce enables our shareholders and supplier channel partners to operate more efficiently.”

In introducing the award, Rick Main, senior vice president sales and marketing for Des Moines-based GCommerce, used the analogy of a cornerstone that is critical to the proper alignment of the foundation of either a building or a business. The Alliance has been a valued partner to GCommerce since 2007 and has collaborated on several initiatives that form the foundation of the GCommerce business.

The Hall of Fame Award was presented as part of the annual GCommerce Recognition and Awards Banquet in Des Moines, Iowa. Members of the board, advisers, all staff members and the leadership team were in attendance.
