Alliance Announces BBB As 2021 Channel Partner Of The Year

The recognition is the most prominent of the Alliance’s 11 channel-partner awards.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance recently honored BBB Industries as the 2021 Channel Partner of the Year.

The announcement was made during the Alliance’s channel-partner awards banquet at the JW Marriott Turnberry in Aventura, Florida, during the Alliance Winter Shareholder Meeting.

The BBB team is honored to receive this award from the Alliance group,” said Kim Nolan, senior vice president of sales at BBB Industries. “Our partnership with the Alliance Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper members is stronger than ever and we look forward to continued excellence as we work together in the future.”

The recognition is the most prominent of the Alliance’s 11 channel-partner awards. It is annually presented to a supplier that consistently performs with a high level of distinction, maintains exceptional support of the Alliance’s brand strategy and repeatedly scores high in all award categories.

“Once again, BBB is a great choice to receive this prestigious award,” said Dan Rader, vice president of category management for the Alliance. “They consistently support our members throughout the year and they help propel our exclusive national brand, Perfect Stop, with a caliper program that is essential to our service dealer network and technician customers. From their marketing and sales support to their participation in the Alliance Technology Suite, they simply get the job done. Congratulations to the team at BBB Industries.”

The Channel Partner of the Year announcement is the pinnacle of the Alliance’s Winter Shareholder Meeting, a four-day event in which shareholders and channel partners collaborate, network and plan for the future. More than 400 attendees traveled to Aventura for this year’s banquet.

The Alliance also honored 10 other channel partners with a variety of awards to recognize training support, marketing efforts, category expertise, effective use of personnel, top-notch logistics, customer service, true Texas grit, making a difference and support of the Alliance’s exclusive national brands.

“We truly work with some amazing industry channel partners,” said John R. Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “Congratulations to all of the winners, and a sincere thank you from the Alliance, its shareholder members, and our customers on all of your support.”

The Alliance meeting formally closed with a business strategy meeting for shareholder members, and was followed by workshops focused on information technology, product and the Alliance’s Heavy-Duty program, which will be a prime focus in 2022.

The Channel Partner Advisory Council, a collection of product partners in attendance, stayed an extra day to recap the meeting, provide insights from a channel partner perspective and plan for future events.

“To be able to conclude a very productive and successful Alliance conference with the Channel Partner Advisory Council meeting where the manufacturer representatives openly provide feedback and discuss ideas on improving the meetings, future events and promotions is fantastic,” said Jeff Blocher, director of sales at Mann+Hummel Filtration Technology and chairman of the CPAC council. “It was great being live and in person again for this meeting. It concludes the week and facilitates us getting things right for the manufacturers and Alliance members as we spend valuable time together.”
