Alliance, Federal-Mogul Motorparts to Hold Bonus Drawing for ‘Stay Cool with Wagner’ Campaign at AAPEX

The grand prize is $25,000.

Earlier this summer, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper, part of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, teamed up with Federal-Mogul Motorparts for a Wagner Brake promotion called “Stay Cool With Wagner.”

The exclusive program, which ran from May 7 until July 31, allowed professional repair shop owners who purchased Wagner Brake products from Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper locations across the United States to earn merchandise from YETI as well as a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas and cash prizes.

Depending on the dollar amount each shop spent on qualifying Wagner purchases, participants obtained great prizes from YETI, including Rambler tumblers, Lowball cups, larger bottles and even a Roadie cooler. Additionally, in the United States, each participating shop owner earned multiple entries for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Las Vegas AAPEX and SEMA shows, including a four-night stay at The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Each of the 10 U.S. winners then were entered into a bonus drawing for cash prizes, which will be announced at approximately 2:30 p.m. PT on Nov. 1 at the Federal-Mogul Motorparts booth during AAPEX.

The grand prize is $25,000. First prize is $10,000, second prize is $5,000 and seven runners-up will receive $250 each.

“When a ‘cool’ promotion is executed correctly and rewards our best customers for buying the Wagner products they trust, you will see great interest and results,” said Dinah Jean Volante, marketing concierge, MOOG Louisville (Ky.) Warehouse. “The fact that 100 customers received free YETI merchandise, with eight of our customers winning trips to the Alliance Vegas Jackpot, is really exciting.

“We appreciate Alliance and the Wagner marketing team for working together with us in creating a program that we knew would be a winner. We also want to thank all our customers for their support and for making us their first call parts partner. I, personally, can’t wait to see what the next program from Wagner for Alliance members will look like.”
