BARRE, Vt. Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance member Bond Auto Parts Inc. has entered into a comprehensive multi-year partnership agreement with the Boston Red Sox, recognizing Bond Auto Parts as the "Official Auto Parts Retailer Of The Boston Red Sox."
As a result of the partnership, Bond Auto Parts will be the title sponsor of both the Vermont and New Hampshire State Days at Fenway Park.
Vermont State Day is Sunday, April 21, and New Hampshire State Day is Sunday, May 26. State Days are provided by the Red Sox to allow New England residents a chance to experience a game at Fenway Park by entering a random drawing in which that state’s residents will be able to purchase tickets.
“The Boston Red Sox is one of the world’s most recognized brands and is rich in history within New England,” said Mark Mast, Bond Auto VP of marketing. “As a locally owned and operated family business, we feel that being associated with the Red Sox and its extensive fan base will enable us to capture more market share and customer enthusiasm.”
Bond Auto Parts also plans to use the partnership to drive sales to its stores by hosting Red Sox ticket giveaways and contests for its customers, which will be supported by an extensive media campaign, in-store signage, vehicle signage and events.
“We are pleased to welcome Bond Auto Parts to the Red Sox family as our official auto parts retailer,” said Troup Parkinson, Red Sox SVP of corporate partnerships. “With a shared commitment to customer service and strong roots throughout New England, we share many of the same values. We look forward to working with them through the new partnership.”
Bond Auto Parts was founded in 1956 by Earl and Mary Bond of Barre, Vt. The company has since expanded with 25 stores in Vermont, 16 in New Hampshire, two in New York and one store in Massachusetts, and is now run by the third generation of family members.
