LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The employee team at Alliance Parts Warehouse celebrated Spring National Car Care Month with a giant Car Care Aware event the last week of April.

All APW employees and family members participated in the event. Employee volunteers manned two Quick Check Lanes and performed vehicle inspections and safety checks. As a part of their inspections, volunteers checked essential vehicle fluids, oil levels, tire air pressure and replenished fluids as required. In addition, each vehicle owner received a “Car Care Aware” brochure, a mirror hanger with top 10 fuel savings tips, and a car care checklist.

“This was an incredibly fun and informative event for our people,” said Max Dull, vice president and general manager of APW. “It is a fantastic way to build awareness for the Auto Care Association’s efforts to educate consumers on the importance of proper vehicle maintenance. It was also a great team-building event for the staff. We all really enjoyed ourselves.”

Samples included shop towels, window cleaner, tire shine, engine protectant/shine, car wax, dry lubricant, and an Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper throw blanket. Breakfast snacks and refreshments were served for employees to enjoy while cars were inspected.
