AMSOIL recently announced a strategic partnership with Banks Power, in which AMSOIL will be the lubricant of choice for all Banks applications, including the new patented Ram-Air differential cover.
Banks Power is an engineering firm and manufacturer of power-enhancing products for gas- and diesel-powered vehicles. The company is well-known and respected in the automotive-enthusiast community for its technological achievements and data-driven development, AMSOIL noted in a news release.
Gale Banks, founder and president of Banks Power, “is a highly regarded engineer known for his expertise in maximizing vehicle performance and longevity,” according to AMSOIL.
“The company’s fundamental principles combine old-fashioned business ethics and service with leading technology, engineering, innovation and advanced testing methods,” the company said. “These values are in strong alignment with the principles AMSOIL is built upon.”
“I’m a futurist,” Banks added. “My entire career has been about what’s next. Through the decades, the Banks team has opened new markets in marine engines, turbocharging, pickup truck and motorhome power systems, turbocharged tuner cars, diesel power systems, electronic tuners and exhaust brakes. Plus, I’m proud to have worked for many major car and engine manufacturers in defining their future products.”
Banks Power is offering its new differential cover bundled with AMSOIL Severe Gear synthetic gear lube easy-packs as the first-fill lubricant. AMSOIL easy-packs were launched in August 2018 and have earned a SEMA Global Media Award and a Flexible Packaging Achievement award for their design.
“AMSOIL and Banks are committed to discovering how to increase performance at the intersection of innovative component design and unmatched lubrication technology – to find what’s next,” AMSOIL Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and former AMSOIL R&D Director Dan Peterson said. “We are really excited about the possibilities.”
