Arnold Motor Supply Expands Footprint in Central Nebraska

Anderson Auto Parts has served the Grand Island area for 33 years under the ownership of KKES, providing diesel and electrical repair services and automotive parts sales.

Anderson Auto Parts, an independent auto parts store serving Grand Island, Nebraska, will join the Arnold Motor Supply family of parts stores, becoming Arnold’s 66th location throughout the Midwest.

The purchase agreement was finalized on Aug. 1.

Anderson Auto Parts has served the Grand Island area for 33 years under the ownership of KKES, providing diesel and electrical repair services and automotive parts sales. In addition, Rob Schuster and his sons, under separate ownership, will operate their diesel and electrical business as Genuine Diesel in their existing location.

“Grand Island is the perfect spot for our next store, not only because it’s a wonderful community and we have team members already familiar with the area, but it also closes the gap for our service and delivery to the central Nebraska tri-city area,” said Mike Molle, vice president of store operations.

Arnold Motor Supply has stores in Hastings, Nebraska, and Kearney, Nebraska, established in 1999 and 2015, respectively. By adding the Grand Island location, Arnold will be able to offer midday deliveries between the stores and shared inventory, ultimately getting the parts to the customers more quickly, the company noted.

“This expansion is another demonstration of our focus on steadied growth and ensuring we provide the best service to our customers,” added Molle.

The Grand Island store will be managed by Justin Rasmussen, who has been in the automotive industry for more than 20 years. The store will offer automotive replacement parts for cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, marine, off-road and agricultural equipment as well as tools, shop equipment and paint and body supplies.
