Brendan Baker

Brendan Baker is technical editor for the Tech Group, Engine Builder and Counterman, and the editor-at-large for Motorcycle & Powersports News. He has been involved in racing and the aftermarket in some capacity for more than 30 years, including stints as a parts specialist and technician. He earned his certification as a racing mechanic from Spenard-David Racing School in 1989 and worked his way up to IndyCar. He was also owner/driver of a semi-professional racing team for several years. Baker studied journalism and computer science at Kent State, and has worked as an editor for Babcox Media since 2002. In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycles and racing go-karts.
