BETHESDA, Md. — The Auto Care Association Category Management Committee has announced a new webinar series beginning in August 2014. The committee will be hosting webinars featuring a new topic every third Friday of the month, educating companies about available data sources that enhance category management skills. The 30-minute webinars will be scheduled at 11 a.m. EDT and repeated at 3 p.m. EDT. The first webinar will be presented by Planalytics at 11 a.m. EDT and 3 p.m. EDT. on Aug. 22.

"This series of webinars provide retailers and manufacturers alike the opportunity to gain exposure to the latest technologies, research techniques and data sources without the pressure of a salesman sitting across the desk,” said Mike Lyman, chairman, Auto Care Association Category Management Committee. “This is a great way for them to become familiar with what is available. They can then pursue further conversation if they want to. They also provide solution providers the opportunity to make their case for their products to a broad audience all at once."

Future presenting companies include Weather Trends, Webfetch, Market Track and Retail Insights. Contact information for presenting companies can be made available by request.

There is no fee to attend, but attendees must sign up due to limited availability. To sign up and for more information, contact Robert Morris at (240) 333-1068 or [email protected].
