Auto Pride Extends East Coast Footprint with Addition of New York’s Quick Auto Parts, Concord Auto Parts

Third-generation owner Lloyd Shochat soon will implement the group’s NetIntell data warehouse to more efficiently manage the business interests.

The Automotive Distribution Network continues to expand the presence of the Auto Pride brand on the East Coast with the recent signings of Quick Auto Parts and Concord Auto Parts in Hicksville, New York.

“The Network is pleased to welcome Quick Auto Parts and Concord Auto Parts into Auto Pride membership,” said Cora Roark, director of Auto Pride. “Located within two miles of each other, these businesses have been owned and operated for decades by the Shochat family, who have established a distinguished reputation for providing first-rate, personable service in the area. Each company will utilize the Auto Pride toolbox to continue growing their respective business while enhancing their customer service with the Network’s IT initiatives.”

Specifically, third-generation owner Lloyd Shochat soon will implement the group’s NetIntell data warehouse to more efficiently manage the business interests, whose origins can be traced to his grandfather Izzy Shochat, who started Quick Auto Parts in a Hicksville barn in 1960.

“We’ve come a long way since then, always striving to stay ahead of the technological curve to serve our customers,” said Shochat, whose father, Sam, helped Izzy expand the business into two thriving companies in 1971. “Compared to our previous program group, the Network’s superior IT initiatives, along with their product and marketing programs, will prove valuable as we extend our footprint. Combined with our dedicated staff of managers, counterpersons and outside salesmen, Auto Pride is an excellent partner moving forward.”

The Automotive Distribution Network operates under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride.
