Auto Pride Signs On As Associate Sponsor Of Top Fuel Driver Bob Vandergriff Jr. For 2013 NHRA Series

Auto Pride and Parts Plus members will co-host several hospitality events for their customers at tracks nationwide, and will be involved in cross-promotions with Network manufacturer partners that are onboard as associate sponsors of BVR.

GERMANTOWN,Tenn. – Auto Pride has reached an agreement to become an associate sponsor of Top Fuel driver Bob Vandergriff Jr. and the C&J Energy Services dragster for the 2013 season in the NHRA Mello Yello Racing Series.

“Auto Pride’s associate sponsorship of Bob Vandergriff Racing (BVR) is the next step in growing the already first-ratemotorsports program the Network has established over the last few years with driver Clay Millican and the Parts Plus Top Fuel team," said Steve Tucker, vice president of the Automotive Distribution Network. “The Auto Pride logo will be featured prominently on Bob’s car, uniform and equipment, offering tremendous exposure as we continue to market the brand to professional end-users—some of the biggest NHRA fans in the country.”

With Millican now part of Bob Vandergriff Racing (BVR) as a multi-car team, Auto Pride and Parts Plus members will co-host several hospitality events for their customers at tracks nationwide, and will be involved in cross-promotions with Network manufacturer partners that are onboard as associate sponsors of BVR.

“Bringing Auto Pride and the entire Network to our program along with a great driver and fan favorite like Clay is huge for us,” Vandergriff said. “Our goal has been to add a full-time driver to complement our C&J Energy Services team so we can compete on an even playing field with other elite racing programs. With Auto Pride and Parts Plus now part of the BVR family, we’re focused on working together to win a championship for the Network.”
