Automotive Parts Associates Awards 5 Scholarships for 2018-2019 Academic Year

“Automotive Parts Associates is proud to be able to contribute to the future of the aftermarket industry by providing deserving students a helping hand to offset the cost of their education,” APA Director of Operations Judy Sanell said.

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has awarded five scholarships to the children or employees of APA shareholders for the 2018-2019 academic year.

APA has awarded $1,000 scholarships to:

  • Diana Davis of Clawson, Michigan
  • Neena Hernandez of Sylmar, California
  • Joy LaCava of Somerset, Massachusetts
  • Alex Renzetti of Chicago Heights, Illinois
  • Grace Ziemer of Saint Paul, Minnesota

The APA scholarships, administered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF), were awarded to students who will be attending, or will attend, a two- or four-year accredited college; an ASE/NATEF-certified post-secondary automotive, heavy-duty or collision technician training program; or any licensed and accredited vocational school.

In addition, once a student applied for an APA scholarship, the applicant also was considered for UAF and other scholarships available through the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships Central website.

“Automotive Parts Associates is proud to be able to contribute to the future of the aftermarket industry by providing deserving students a helping hand to offset the cost of their education,” APA Director of Operations Judy Sanell said.
