APA Welcomes Ober Automotive Warehouse, Northside Imports

Automotive Parts Associates Welcomes 2 New Shareholders

Ober Automotive Warehouse and Northside Imports are the newest members of the APA family.

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) is pleased to welcome two new shareholders to the APA family: Ober Automotive Warehouse and Northside Imports.

Ober Automotive Warehouse in Greensboro, Maryland, was started in 1960 by Mr. and Mrs. Ober, a family-owned business for 62 years. Roland Karbaum purchased the business, located in an old-school building, in June 2022.

Asked why Ober Automotive Warehouse chose to join APA, the answer was simple: APA is the best fit. Being a small business, it just made sense financially.

“We are proud Ober Automotive Warehouse LLC chose APA as their partner for the future,” APA President Steve Tucker said. “Roland and his crew have big plans for this business including a move to a larger facility, so I am excited they chose APA to assist them in their plans. Growing together is not just a slogan for us, it is why we are here.”

Northside Imports Inc. was established June 20, 1986, by the founding owner, David Jalili. With 10 warehouses located in North America, Northside Imports is the leading European auto parts importer and distributor in the country.

Asked why Northside Imports chose to join APA, Brian Saravelas, purchasing/product manager of Northside Imports, said: “Steve. He is most respected, down to earth, and the APA group is a family-oriented business-style group.”

“APA is excited to have Northside Imports Inc. join APA as our newest shareholder,” Tucker added. “Growing together is not just a slogan for us, it is why we are here.”
