Automotive Parts Associates Welcomes AYG Auto Parts

Since 2016, Shawn Ahourie has managed to grow the company to 55 employees.

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) recently welcomed AYG Auto Parts as the newest shareholder in the APA family.

As a lifelong car enthusiast, Shawn Ahourie realized a whispered dream when he founded AYG Auto Parts.

Since 2016, Ahourie has managed to grow the company to 55 employees. According to Ahourie, “APA came highly recommended, but I did my own research – and APA was the clear choice.”

While Ahourie is looking forward to the networking opportunities, APA offers shareholders much more: vendor selections; assisting in IT solutions; marketing programs; and a host of proprietary services.

The company is located in the quaint town of Rockville Centre, New York, and Ahourie can be reached at [email protected].

“AYG represents to me a great opportunity, not only with his business model but also because we see Shawn and other recent APA shareholders as the next generation of entrepreneurial aftermarket distributors,” said Steve Tucker, APA president. “We are proud Shawn and AYG chose APA as their partner for the future. Growing together is not just a slogan for us, it is why we are here.”

Automotive Parts Associates is a shareholder-owned cooperative made up of more than 475 independent auto parts distributor locations throughout North America. For more information about APA or about membership opportunities, visit www.APA.parts.
