BBB Industries has named Michael Hansen as EVP and chief financial officer, and Ross Bratlee as EVP and chief transformation officer, the company announced.

Following successful stints leading the finance and accounting functions at three private equity firms, Hansen brings deep financial acumen, relevant experience and energizing leadership to BBB Industries, according to the company.

Hansen most recently served as chief financial officer at Cambium Networks, a technology-based, fixed-wireless broadband company spun off from Motorola. A native of South Africa, Hansen also has held executive financial positions at Verengo Solar, RAE Systems and Smith’s PLC.

Bratlee will transition from chief financial officer into the newly created role of EVP and chief transformation officer. In his new position, Bratlee will lead the integration efforts for the recent purchase of Remy Power Products North America and all future acquisitions. Bratlee also will co-lead the ongoing rollout of a new ERP system, focusing on the financial and accounting aspects of the system.

Bratlee joined BBB in 2016 after serving as chief financial officer at API Heat Transfer. He also has served in a variety of senior financial positions at Tomkins, Johns Manville, Reichhold Chemicals, Honeywell and General Electric.

“These are very important changes to our senior executive team,” said Duncan Gillis, CEO of BBB Industries. “We thank Ross for his many contributions as BBB Industries’ CFO over these past years and look forward to supporting him as he moves into this critical new role. Mike brings a complementary skillset and style to our senior team; I’m thankful that he elected to join us from among his many options and am convinced BBB will become an even better company with Mike onboard.”

Founded in 1987, Daphne, Alabama-based BBB Industries produces remanufactured starters, alternators, hydraulic and air disc-brake calipers, electronic power-steering products and turbochargers for OEM and aftermarket applications.
