ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC once again recognizes the outstanding achievements of channel partners in its Premier Distributor Program (PDP). This year, Bendix honors 47 companies that have earned the program’s highest ranking of platinum.

Platinum partners reflect the top distributors in the comprehensive Bendix independent aftermarket distributor network, delivering exceptional performance for fleet customers, owner-operators and service repair facilities across North America. Launched in 2007, the PDP has continued to strengthen Bendix’s distributor relations and its capacity to support the marketplace.

“We are excited to recognize the Bendix Premier Distributor Program’s newest platinum members. Through trust and teamwork, we’ve built strong partnerships, which is essential to meet the needs of the heavy-duty aftermarket,” said Jerry Conroy, Bendix director of aftermarket sales. “Bendix’s channel partners share our commitment to delivering unparalleled safety, performance, value, and post-sales support on a daily basis. Customers count on us to help them keep their equipment up and running and in the safest possible condition, and we’re proud to have distributor partners who go the extra mile to make that happen.”

Bendix is the North American leader in the development and manufacture of leading-edge active safety and braking system technologies for commercial vehicles. The Premier Distributor Program evaluates distributors in six key areas. Bendix’s programutilizes objective performance measures as opposed to work volume alone, unlike other programs in the heavy-duty parts industry.

As a result, all Bendix distributors have an opportunity to earn rewards and recognition. Additionally, Bendix account managers work with distributors to optimize delivery and improve customer relationships by jointly constructing a business plan that addresses the PDP’s key measurement areas. The program’s holistic approach aids Bendix and its distributors by enabling two-way communication and setting clearly defined annual expectations.
