Brembo To Unveil New Products At Automechanika

The focal point of the company's exhibit this year will be the new range of ultraviolet-coated brake discs.

STEZZANO, Italy – Brembo will exhibit at this year’s Automechanika with a new, modern stand built around the complete range of the company’s products.

The focal point of the company’s exhibit this year will be the new range of ultraviolet-coated brake discs. According to Brembo, the protective paint coating guarantees greater resistance and complete protection of the disc from storage through to installation. The design represents a decisive step forward on the path toward environmental respect and protection, the company says. During the process of coating, no VOCs – environmentally harmful emissions – are produced. In addition, compared with conventional coatings, less energy is needed, as Brembo’s ultraviolet coating dries at room temperature. The product line of ultraviolet-coated discs covers a large proportion of the European automobile fleet.

This year, the subject of art also will hold a special place at Brembo’s Automechanika booth. To celebrate the launch of the new UV-coated product range, Brembo has involved artists and students from art and design schools, challenging them to paint and design the discs according to their own ideas. From all the works of art displayed on www.brembopromotion.com, Brembo selected the 10 most interesting examples for the final voting phase. Visitors to Automechanika will have the opportunity to choose the winner from the top 10 artists. All jurors, in fact, will have the chance to win valuable prizes including three Brembo B Jet
Helmets. The artist who receives the most votes will take home a Vespa.

Another important milestone that Brembo will celebrate at Automechanika is the expansion of the range of brake pads. These and other innovations from the world of Brembo will be featured at the Brembo booth, located in Hall 3, Stand D21.
