Joe’s Garage, a Bumper to Bumper Certified Service Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas, has been named the 2019 WIX Driving Performance Award winner.

The accolade is given annually to a shop that truly is revolutionizing the customers’ vehicle repair experience, from start to finish.

Joe Sharp, shop owner at Joe’s Garage in North Little Rock, Ark., held his new trophy after winning the 2019 WIX Driving Performance Award.

“I am extremely proud to be receiving this award,” said Joe Sharp, shop owner of Joe’s Garage. “But I think it’s about partnering with quality manufacturers like WIX and distributors like Parts Warehouse, Inc. (PWI) and the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance where, as a Certified Service Center, I can offer my customers nationwide warranty and so many other programs that I wouldn’t be able to as an individual shop. I want to provide the best services I can to the folks that have trusted me to service their vehicles.”

Sharp, a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc.’s Service Center Advisory Council and a customer of PWI, has spent years honing his operation. He prioritizes his customers with complimentary rides to and from work or home as well as a waiting room complete with hot and cold drinks, free Wi-Fi, and a charging port. He doesn’t ask for customer email addresses to ensure their information is kept private.

Sharp also keeps his technicians happy by closing the shop on weekends to promote healthy work-life balance, offering plenty of training opportunities, and paying them salary rather than on commission.

“On behalf of the entire Bumper to Bumper team in Little Rock, I would like to congratulate Joe,” said Kenny Payne, vice president of marketing for Parts Warehouse, Inc. “If you know Joe, you know that besides operating a first-class automotive repair business, he keeps busy juggling community involvement and moonlighting as a local auto repair talk show celebrity. Joe is very deserving of this award, and it’s an honor to do business with him.”

Sharp was flown out to be honored at the WIX Filters and Babcox Media Night of Excellence recognition dinner at AAPEX on Nov. 4 in Las Vegas.

“Joe’s Garage is an exemplary shop with an innovative leader,” said JC Washbish, vice president of sales and marketing for the Alliance. “Joe raises the customer service bar every single day, and we’re proud to have him representing the Bumper to Bumper brand.”
