CARDONE Challenges Auto Technicians to Share Installation Videos for Chance to Win $5,000

CARDONE will determine the $5,000 winner based on a point system that tallies online votes and views tied to a specific video.

CARDONE Industries has announced a new video competition for automotive technicians to share their installation skills and enter to win $5,000.

Based on the success of a similar contest earlier this year, CARDONE has renewed its challenge to technicians of all skill levels, from professional automotive technicians to enthusiastic DIYers, to create and share an original video featuring the installation or service of an under-the-hood or under-the-car automotive part.

“The automotive market is incredibly active with smart, fun technicians who have an abundance of knowledge and experience to share,” said Joe End, customer experience and tech services manager. “We see this competition as a chance to share installation tips and tricks with the larger automotive community.”

To enter the content, videos must be submitted through videocontest.cardone.com. The contest runs from June 1 to Oct. 15.

CARDONE will determine the $5,000 winner based on a point system that tallies online votes and views tied to a specific video. Points can be gathered throughout the contest and will continue after the video deadline with a final count on Oct. 31.

CARDONE said it will announce the winner on Nov. 14 through the contest website and on cardone.com. The winner and other top-rated contestant videos also will join entries from the last contest on CARDONE’s YouTube channel.
