Dayco Named Large Business Of The Year In Barnwell County, S.C.

Barnwell County is home to one of Dayco’s belt manufacturing plants, located in Williston, S.C.

 

TROY, Mich. – Dayco Products has been named Large Business of the Year for Barnwell County, S.C., by the Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce. Barnwell County is home to one of Dayco’s belt manufacturing plants, located in Williston, S.C.

Dayco was named Large Business of the Year for its contributions to Toys for Tots, the DSS Angel Tree, Relay for Life and March of Dimes, as well as its involvement in the Dream It Do It campaign and Work Ready Communities committee. Dayco also supports the Williston Elko Booster Club and the local school system by offering tours of the production facility. In addition, Dayco was recognized for the $2 million expansion project currently taking place at the Williston plant, which will generate 15 new jobs in the community.

In operation since 1977, the Williston plant employs more than 250 Dayco associates, who produce serpentine belts and timing belts for original equipment, heavy-duty and the automotive aftermarket.
